Inverter Failure
Recently, we have been attending a few inverter break downs from Power One, PVI-4.2-OUTD_AU with a Fault Error Code E031, this fault requires manufacture inverter replacement.
Inverters that are less than 5 years old can receive a refurbished unit. The good news is that Power One (ABB group) are committed to ensure the inverter is replaced, additionally they offer a $180.00 compensation for the cost of replacement. 1) Your name, number and address of location of Inverter
2) Two photos are recommended. One photo showing fault code on the screen (even if the screen is blank) plus photo of the side panel showing the inverter model, serial number and WK number.
3) Invoice receipt of inverter installation day (Certificate of Compliance can also support this)
